What actually is SMP?
A non-surgical treatment that places precise micro-deposits of pigment into the scalp to replicate natural hair follicles. Whether you’re thinning, receding, scarred or fully bald, it creates the look of density without surgery and without daily maintenance.
Does it work if I still have hair?
Yes — that’s density SMP. Pigment goes in between the hair you already have, so thinning areas read as fuller coverage. You keep your current length and style.
Is it only for men?
No. Women’s SMP adds depth through the part line, crown or overall density, blended so it moves with your natural hair rather than sitting on top of it.
What is MicroDensa™?
Inkd SMP’s growth-focused protocol. Dormant follicles are woken up first using peptides, growth factors and red light therapy; SMP is layered in for density afterwards if it’s still needed. It suits early thinning or recession rather than advanced hair loss.
How long does each appointment take?
Around four hours. Appointments sit 7–14 days apart so the pigment settles before the next layer goes in.
Will I see a difference straight away?
Yes — there’s a visible change from the first appointment. The later ones build depth and refine the hairline rather than starting from scratch.
What does it cost?
It depends on your coverage area and hair loss pattern, so the quote is confirmed in your consultation rather than guessed online. Your balance can be paid on the day, or split across your first two appointments.
What happens once it’s finished?
You’re covered by a 12-month follow-up guarantee. If anything needs adjusting as the pigment settles in, it gets sorted.
